Wendy, We All Miss You! I saw Wendy O and the Plasmatics at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorum (front Row of the Mosh Pit) in the early 80's and
I can still remember it just like yesterday! If you could have only taped the Raw Power and Energy from their gig you could light a Fucking City!

I saw The Plamatics and Wendy on SCTV for the first time while I was stationed in Alaska. I special ordered everything I could get on them albums, cassettes, and posters. 2 of everthing just in case something happened to one of them while I was up there. My buddy had his Joan Jett poster and I had my Wendy O. poster and stereo but that's all I needed. The whole time I was there I studied and worked out while listening to The Plasmatics.
Today I still do a little studying and working out while listening to The Plasmatics, they can still put a "fire" in me.
Can't wait for the CD, it's a little harder to wear those things out. No one's ever come close to 'ya!

A girlfriend and I were supposed to see a movie when we saw this long line outside a club in Hollywood (1982 maybe?). We were told Wendy O. Williams and the Plasmatics were playing an unannounced show, so we sold our movie tickets and went in. What I saw blew me away, but partly because Wendy came out stark naked smeared in what appeared to be dirt from the flowerpot she'd smashed in the 1st set. She was struttin' and ragin' and my girlfriend and I were taking it all in when I walked up to some guy and said "Wow, you enjoying the show?" (I mean, Wendy was like a Pet or a Playmate come to life, yes? Only a MAD one! A REAL fucking woman.) The guy frowned and shook his head and said Wendy was disgusting or something. I laughed in his face and knew he didn't get it. I got it, and I'm sorry Wendy felt like she had to leave this world. But then, this world is so fucked up, it almost makes sense doesn't it?

<BR>but they still emulate her style,Lydia said she hated computers,and i agree,they take away personal intellect,but this web-site must live on,so even those who did not get the point behind d'fest and baddest will,my WENDY,was not enough,THIS IS RAW,but she was more!
