Wendy
O. and the Plasmatics completely changed my life. The completely
narrow conformist crap I got at home and in school when I was
growing up made for completely hopeless times until I say Wendy,
new radical mowhawk on the Friday's TV show. I became a fan at
once, and she completely changed my life. The guts, the stamina,
the whole radical message completely empowered me, and I've never
taken any shit from anyone since. Wendy you will neve ber forgotten.
You were and still are completely number one. You'll always be
in my heart. Wankers take dive! |

WOW!
I heard this was here and had to come by and pay my respects
to the greatest woman in the history of rock. When you see the
crap that's out there now you realize the importane of keeping
the memory alive. And then I get here and see the entry about
Blondie at the Garden, what synchronicity...two friends of mine
were at that show (allright I have friends that like pop music
too, don't kill me) and they phoned me from that show!!! I couldn't
hear shit, except yes they did 'Sometimes I' and yes Debbie H.
said 'and here's one from one of the greatest NY rock bands of
all time' and yes the crowd went fucking wild!!! That much I
could hear! Cheers Debbie for 'crossing over' and recognizing
the greatness of Wendy and Plas. I'm not really into pop stuff
(to say the least) myself, but it gives me respect for you too!
It shows the love and respect Wendy had across all kinds of differences.
Wendy, you rule!!! |

This
is my second entry to the Memorial Guestbook, prompted I guess
by the fact that I just can't feel what I wrote before was adequate,
and also reading the Memorial book the other day where it was
mentioned that Blondie had done an encore tribute (encoring with
'Sometimes I') at a San Francisco show. My friend called me from
New York over the weekend and said they did the same thing at
the Garden show there Friday night and got an awesome crowd response.
I hope you can hear it Wendy. Plasmatics rule!!! |
