AGAIN!!! |
|
| With thousands turned away at first Bond's show,
two more shows (May 15, 16, 1981) were planned before the first
show was even over. Amidst preparing for the trials in Cleveland,
and Milwaukee, countless TV appearances and interviews the Plasmatics
recorded "Beyond the Valley of 1984" spearheaded with
songs like 'Masterplan' and 'Pig is a Pig'. The second Bond's shows raised more
funds for legal fees and launched the "1984 World Tour"
(in 1981) in support of the album. During these shows, which
still stand as a benchmark in the history of rock and roll and
performance art, crowds went wild as two facsimile Milwaukee
Police cars were blown up on stage, and the band once again asserted
its no-compromise assault on the status quo. |
